Filtering substation
- Upper body, containing cleaning mechanisms, bag holding frame, filtering bags of 220 mm diameter and the tube plate;
- Lower body, with the collection hopper and load discharging systems (rotary valve and worm conveyor), mounted on legs.
The group was conceived to function under pressure: the dusty air enters the fore-chamber intake, which facilitates decanting of larger shavings, and is then pushed up inside the bags, therefore being extracted from above as filtered cleaned air.With an expulsion plenum the air can be recovered in the environment or expelled through the by pass closure gate.

Cleaning of the filtering bags may be performed through cyclical electro-mechanical shaking or with a counter-washing flow of air through the helicoidal ventilators: the dust that has fallen into the hopper is evacuated through a continuous chain or Archimedean screw conveyor system, to the rotary valve, which discharges the material into the pneumatic conveyor tubes, or directly into a storage silo, depending on where the filter substation is mounted. From the silos, a furnace can be fed with wood shavings with opportune extraction systems: the operation of the installation is completely automatic, with no need of intervention by personnel. On request, the self-cleaning version with intake from above and without cleaning devices is also available, which is particularly well suited for fine and light dusts, of the type produced by sanding.
